We sell several Curtain Tracks and Poles for which there is a Made to Measure service available.

All Silent Gliss tracks are Made to Measure, and there is a text box on the Silent Gliss pages for you to supply us with your size.
E.G. if you would like a track of 195cm, then buy the 200cm track and enter 195cm in the Made to Measure text box.

See the attachments at the bottom of this page for details on made to measure tracks and poles for bay windows.

Here are important general points to note when measuring for a bay window or other installation where a track with bends is required.

  • Always measure where the track will be fixed, i.e. don't assume that the measurements at the window sill level will be the same as those where you will fix the track they rarely are.
  • Take your time and measure as accurately as possible, if necessary especially with larger bays this will be a two person task.
  • Stick blue tack or otherwise mark measuring points so that you always measure from exactly the same point.

Other information you should take note off.

  • Does the track need to clear a window sill or radiator ?
  • At what point do you want the track to end, i.e. flush with the first leg of the bay or flush with the wall.
  • On corded tracks what length of cord drop do you require, generally this is 150cm as standard.
