Delivery:

The vast majority of the products on our web site are delivered by Royal Mail and are normally despatched within 24 hours during business days.
Most of the larger items are delivered by courier Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Silent Gliss tracks are made to measure items and are normally despatched within 3 days for straight tracks and 10 days for tracks which have bends.

If there are any issues with the despatch of your order we will email you as soon as we can with the details.

Larger items such as curtain tracks and poles are only available for delivery to addresses within UK Mainland, UK Islands, Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Returns:

We are happy for customers to return items which are unsuitable or not required provided they are in a saleable condition. If returning items which have been delivered to you by post, then post them back to:

Within the UK you can get a proof of posting certificate from the post office which is free and will cover any loss or damage up to £30
Postage and Courier charges are not refundable unless goods returned are received by us within seven days of despatch.

Note that we will not be able to refund for any made to measure or custom products such as Silent Gliss or other made to measure tracks, poles or lock cylinders which have been specially made to a specific customer’s requirements.
We do however go out of our way to ensure that any made to measure or customised products are to the requirements specified by the customer.

Making a Purchase:

Making a purchase is easy, simply add the products you would like to the cart and proceed to the checkout. There are three different ways to pay, by cheque, bank transfer and by card.

We make every effort to ensure that prices on the web site www.fittingservices.com are correct, however if there is an error then we will inform the purchaser and verify if they would like to proceed with their order.

Security:

We use a secure card processing company called Sage Pay which links to the HSBC bank to process your card details.
Additionally we use an SSL system to ensure that your other details are likewise protected.

Privacy:

Other than supplying your details to courier or other companies essential to the delivery of your order we do not share information with any other company.

Taxes:

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added at the rate applicable at the time of purchase.
We do not charge Tax on orders out with the European Union. Customers outside the European Union are responsible for any taxes that apply in their own country.

Discrepancies, Damages and Undelivered Orders:

Notifications of discrepancies, damages or orders not received must be made to us in writing within 30 days of purchase.
For goods which are damaged, contact us and we will have them replaced, we may ask you to return the damaged items for inspection.

We will refund or re-despatch goods which have not been delivered within 15 days for UK post code areas and 25 days for areas out with the UK post code regions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they supply a valid and correct address.

Customers in Jersey and other channel islands should note that for tax purposes they are not part of the United Kingdom and we have set up separate countries for these regions.

We reserve the right to refund or resend if we are not notified within 30 days of purchase or the delivery address is incorrect.

 

Digital Downloads:

Digital Download purchases are not refundable.
On completion of purchase of a Digital Download a link to your download will be emailed to you.
Purchasing a Digital Download files give the purchaser a lifetime licence to view and / or listen to that file. Resale of digital download files is not permitted and will breach the licence.

Additionally your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
